About the Role
🔧 Key Responsibilities:
Lead and supervise daily QA/QC operations including manpower planning, equipment scheduling, and productivity monitoring.
Manage first piece sample inspections and customer sample submissions (PPAP, PSW).
Oversee part registration and documentation in systems such as GP Web, RoHS, Green Procurement, and IMDS.
Monitor in-process and final inspections to ensure defect-free output that meets customer requirements.
Handle customer and supplier complaints through root cause analysis, corrective action, and timely reporting (SCAR).
Ensure RoHS compliance of raw materials through regular lab testing.
Coordinate calibration of equipment and maintain clear segregation of non-conforming tools.
Support internal and external audits in line with ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 standards.
Prepare and submit weekly/monthly quality reports.
Conduct training and competency development for QA/QC team members.
Assist in new part development and drawing updates.
Support quality documentation and systems management under QMS/EMS frameworks.
Carry out any other duties assigned by the department head.
Requirements
Minimum Professional Certificate/Diploma or equivalent qualification.
At least 3 years of experience in QA/QC or manufacturing-related roles.
Proficient in 5S, Kaizen, MS Office, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Fluent in Bahasa Malaysia and English.
At least 1 year of experience working with ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 standards.
