About the Role
🔧 Key Responsibilities:
Lead and manage daily QA/QC operations including manpower scheduling, equipment coordination, and productivity monitoring.
Supervise in-process and final inspections to detect and prevent visual, printing, or die-cut defects.
Oversee returned parts rework and confirm quality compliance before inventory acceptance.
Ensure RoHS compliance of raw materials through periodic lab testing.
Handle customer complaints with timely reporting, root cause analysis, and implementation of corrective actions.
Manage supplier quality issues by issuing SCARs and following up on countermeasures.
Assist in new part development, customer request handling, and drawing updates.
Generate weekly/monthly reports on quality trends and issues.
Support Deputy QEMR in maintaining QMS/EMS documentation and internal audit compliance.
Oversee equipment calibration schedules and ensure proper handling of out-of-spec tools.
Train and guide QA/QC team to maintain competency and performance.
Perform other duties as assigned by management.
Requirements
Minimum Bachelor’s Degree in any relevant field.
At least 3 years of experience in a QA/QC or manufacturing role.
Proficient in MS Office, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Fluent in Bahasa Malaysia and English.
At least 1 year of experience with ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 standards.
Knowledge of 5S and Kaizen is an added advantage.
