FLE are committed to providing a safe and healthy working environment for our employees, customers, and visitors. We recognize that maintaining a safe workplace is not only a legal obligation but also a moral responsibility that supports our goal of providing high-quality products and services.

We understand that occupational health and safety are essential components of our operations, and we aim to continually improve our policies and procedures to minimize work-related injuries and illnesses. We believe that a safe and healthy working environment enhances the quality of our products and services, ensures consistent production, and improves worker retention and morale.

To achieve these goals, we will formulate health and safety policies and make them publicly available on our website or through any other means. We will conduct risk assessments and implement corrective measures as necessary to prevent accidents, injuries, and illnesses. We will establish management systems that prioritize the safety and health of our employees, customers, and visitors, and we will regularly monitor and review our performance to identify areas for improvement.

We believe that promoting a culture of safety and health requires a collective effort from everyone in our organization, and we encourage all our employees to participate in identifying and addressing workplace hazards. We are committed to providing our employees with the necessary training and resources to work safely and healthily, and we will ensure that all concerns related to occupational health and safety are promptly addressed.

Our ultimate goal is to create a workplace where everyone can feel safe, healthy, and productive, and we believe that our commitment to occupational health and safety will help us achieve this objective.

Occupational Safety and Training

FLE are committed to ensuring the safety and health of all our employees and visitors. To achieve this, we will evaluate safety risks in the workplace and implement proper design, engineering, and administrative controls to mitigate these risks. We will identify potentially hazardous locations in the workplace, including those involving chemicals, electricity, other energy sources, fire, vehicles, and fall hazards, and implement preventive maintenance and safe work procedures, including lockout/tag out protocols. We will also provide our employees with the necessary training to ensure they can work safely and healthily.

As part of our commitment to safety, we will provide our employees with appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE), such as face mask, gloves, and shoes. We understand that certain workers, such as pregnant women and nursing mothers, may require additional accommodations to ensure their safety and health. We will take all necessary steps to remove pregnant women and nursing mothers from working conditions with high hazards and will remove or reduce any workplace health and safety risks for these employees.

We will also take reasonable steps to provide appropriate facilities for nursing mothers, such as providing a safe and clean place to pump breast milk and storage for it. We recognize that supporting nursing mothers is not only a legal requirement but also a vital component of creating an inclusive and supportive workplace.

Emergency Preparedness and Training

FLE take the safety and well-being of our employees very seriously, and we are committed to protecting lives and personal safety. To this end, we have prepared emergency measures for possible disasters or accidents and will keep everyone in the workplace informed.

We have installed fire detectors and fire extinguishers in appropriate locations throughout the workplace, and we display the evacuation routes and shelters for use in the event of an emergency. To further ensure the safety of our employees, we will remove any obstacles around or in front of the exits to secure the evacuation route in case of an emergency.

In addition, we will conduct periodic evacuation drills to familiarize our employees with the evacuation process and ensure that everyone is prepared in the event of an emergency. We understand that being prepared is key to ensuring everyone's safety.

Finally, we have developed recovery plans to help us respond and recover quickly in the event of an emergency. These plans include identifying critical business functions and resources, developing emergency communication procedures, and training our employees to respond quickly and safely in the event of an emergency.

Work-related injuries and illness

FLE are committed to providing a safe and healthy workplace for all our employees. We take occupational injuries and illnesses very seriously, and we have procedures in place to identify and respond to these situations appropriately.

If an employee suffers an injury or illness on the job, we will provide appropriate medical treatment and investigate the root cause of the incident. We will take measures to prevent similar incidents from occurring in the future and keep records of the incident for future reference.

We will also classify, record, and analyse injury and illness cases to identify any patterns or trends and take preventive measures if necessary. We understand that identifying and addressing the underlying causes of occupational injuries and illnesses is vital to promoting a safe and healthy workplace for our employees.

Finally, we have established procedures to facilitate the workers with occupational injuries and illnesses to return to work. We understand that it is important to support our employees in their recovery and help them return to work as quickly and safely as possible. These procedures include providing appropriate medical treatment and working with employees to develop a return-to-work plan, to support their recovery.

Industrial Hygiene

FLE are committed to providing a safe and healthy working environment for all our employees. We recognize that there may be biological and chemical substances, noises, offensive odours, and other factors in the workplace that can be harmful to human health.

To address these risks, we will identify these substances and measure their impact on the working environment. We will respond appropriately to control and minimize exposure to harmful elements, such as providing personal protective equipment and maintaining proper ventilation.

In the event of an injury or illness, we have a well-stocked First Aid Kit on-site, and we will periodically maintain it to ensure that it is always ready for use.

We also understand the importance of preventive healthcare measures, and we will provide medical examinations to our workers pursuant to laws and regulations for the prevention and early detection of illness.

Furthermore, we recognize the potential health damage and mental illness caused by long working hours or overwork. To prevent these issues, we will prioritize work-life balance and provide appropriate support to our employees to ensure their well-being.

Attention to Physically Demanding Work

FLE are committed to protecting the physical health of our employees. We recognize that physically demanding work can lead to injuries or illnesses, and we take this issue seriously.

To prevent these problems, we will identify physically demanding tasks in the workplace, such as manual material handling, heavy or repetitive lifting, prolonged standing, and highly repetitive or forceful assembly tasks. We will evaluate the risks associated with these tasks and take appropriate measures to control and minimize them.

We will continue to monitor the risks associated with physically demanding work and take appropriate action to control and minimize these risks. Our commitment to the physical well-being of our employees is ongoing, and we will continually review and improve our policies and procedures to ensure that we are doing everything we can to protect their health and safety.

Machinery and Equipment Safeguarding

To ensure the safety of workers and prevent accidents, we are committed to taking appropriate safety measures for all machinery and equipment used in our company. We will evaluate all machinery and equipment for potential safety hazards and take appropriate actions to control and eliminate those hazards. This may include implementing physical guards, interlocks, and barriers to protect workers from moving parts or other hazards. We will also perform regular maintenance and inspections to ensure that all safety measures are functioning properly.

Health and Safety of Facilities

To ensure the health and safety of our workers, we will take appropriate measures to ensure that the facilities we provide for their livelihood are clean, safe, and meet the necessary standards. This includes providing clean toilet facilities and potable water. We will also maintain our dormitories to high standards of cleanliness and safety, providing hot water for bathing and showering, adequate lighting, ventilation, and individually secured accommodations for storing personal and valuable items, as well as reasonable personal space.

In addition, we will conduct evacuation drills for our dormitories and clearly display the evacuation route to ensure the safety of our workers in case of an emergency. We recognize the importance of providing a safe and comfortable living environment for our workers, and we are committed to taking all necessary steps to ensure their well-being.

Health and Safety Communication

FLE understand the importance of effective communication and will make every effort to communicate health and safety information to our workers in a language they can understand. We also display hazardous areas of the workplace and health and safety information in our facilities to keep workers informed.

We believe that training is key to preventing workplace accidents and injuries. All workers will receive health and safety training prior to the start of their work and on a regular basis thereafter. We also encourage workers to bring any safety concerns to our attention so that we can take immediate steps to address them.
